Mae Marceau

Mae Marceau is one of the most sensational new talents to emerge from the vibrant Amsterdam techno scene. Despite her DJ career having started just a year ago, Mae already won the Verknipt and TADR DJ contests, was selected to play a set during the ADE DJ marathon at Amsterdams Most Wanted (AMW) radio, and currently plays at big clubs in Amsterdam for well-known concepts, e.g., Vriendjes en Vriendinnetjes, Panama, Club NL, Recycle Lounge Gallery Club, Club Jack. From February 2020 onwards Mae is a resident DJ at AMW.FM with her own techno show: Science of Sound. Mae is also host of and resident DJ at MaeDay, a techno concept that saw its highly successful first edition on November 29th at VLLA Amsterdam.
Mae is versatile like a veteran and an adventurous tech rookie at the same time. With her contagious energy and every present smile she captivates every audience she gets to take on her musical journey. Mae Marceau flows from Carl Cox' funkiness into deep Charlotte de Witte-like waters, with a raw edge that reveals clear influences from Amelie Lens. Her background as a scientist and writer makes her a bold and exploring storyteller, unafraid to throw in a surprising, spacey piano-driven house banger for the euphoric momentum.
