Biografie
Born & raised in Melbourne, Australia, Snaz (Mike Fernandez) was put in front of a piano at 5 years old, embarking on a classical music journey until his early 20's. Seeing Tiesto perform at a sell-out stadium in Melbourne on NYE '04, Snaz discovered a new musical passion – Trance.
Having self-taught mixing vinyl, Snaz entered 3D nightclub's DJ competition in 2008, placing 3rd overall from 60+ DJs through the heat, semis & final – earning a monthly residency.
2009-2012 saw Melbourne residencies at 3D, King Of Clubs, Ace Of Spades & Undertone, supporting Tommy Pulse, Technikal, SHOCK:FORCE, Dave Joy and MaRLo.
2013-2014 saw Snaz join Trancegression Events, supporting Manuel Le Saux, Darren Porter, Photographer, Ferry Tayle, Will Atkinson, Gareth Weston, Matt Bowdidge and Alana Aldea in Melbourne, while supporting Sean Tyas and Cosmic Gate in Bangkok, Thailand for King Of Clubs.
As a DJ/Producer, Snaz's sound reflects anything from flowing melodic to driving, tough & techy.
