Biografie
As one of the best DJ's who frequently plays at the TOP parties in São Paulo, DJ Pedro Almeida is well known for playing at events for the "Elite" of the city, presenting with established agencies as Multicase (Sunglasses), Fun2U (Fica comigo & Santa Clara), FishFire & Agencia Q3 (SomebodyLove & Farofada - SP & New Year party in Milagres city - at Alagoas state) WeClap (FullMoon & New Year party Vive Punta Del Este) and Geo Eventos (Lollapalooza Brazil).
Within his portfolio of many great residencies, he has also been involved in providing sets for great weekends, parties and clubs around the country such as; VacaLoca Weekend, Festa do Patrão, Festa do Polo and Festa Única and has been involved with the agency Fun2U Brazil.
Pedrinho is an expert in house music and its many strands, but also likes to mix Nu-Disco, Tech House and Techno in his presentations. He tailors his sets specifically to each type of party or club he plays at. He has had many experiences as a headlining act and also being a warm up act for many other well-known DJs and artists. Pedrinho is a great scholar and researcher of electronic music production in general, in order to constantly expand his knowledge of the upcoming music scene and continuously be able to prove clubs and parties with the best and newest music.
Pedrinho began his career in 2004 at the Duplex Club where he spent 2 years as resident DJ, whilst also dividing his time between the careers of advertising and DJ-ing.
In 2011 during his residency at the former Club A.F.A.I.R, he left his advertising career to enter the hall of the busiest deejays of São Paulo. He was presented the opportunity to share the stage with some of Brasil and the worlds most well-known and major house music DJs such as Will.i.am (Back Eyed Peas), Dj Sasha, Macy Grey, Hot Chip, Mitch Lj, AN21, Sandy Rivera, Phonique and many others.
2012 was marked by the emergence of the "Make U Sweat" label in which DJ Pedro preforms set with friends and fellow DJS, Dudu Linhares and Guga Guizelini. All three have been on tour together in Brazil and they have headlined many events across the country, seeking the fun of the party.
In 2013 Pedrinho was asked to play at Pink Elephant São Paulo, attending many great nights with Seu Jorge, Buchecha, Gabriel O Pensador and many other Brazilian musicians as well as well-known DJs: Gui Boratto, Dj Malboro, Diego Moura, Carlo Dalanese, Mario Fischetti, David Hopperman, Grant Nelson, Chris Valencia and his own label; Make U Sweat.
In late 2013, Pedro was entered into the casting offices of world renowned DJ label HeadPhone BeatsbyDre, alongside gainig residency in the agency Fun2U, as an ambassador in Brazil.
