Biografie
Hicco is not just young and talented, but he is exactly there, where he always wanted to be: behind the turntables.
As the child of a gastronomy family, Hikmet very soon realized, that nightlife tempted/excited him.
Inspired by his familiar surroundings and oriental roots,
this young emerging artist broadened his horizons.
From then on, playing live music and entertaining guests grew into his duties - particularly in the electronic musical landscape.
With his experiences as a guest at the DC10 in Ibiza, Spain, the Woodstock69 in Bloemendaal, Netherlands, at the legendary Robert Johnson in Offenbach, Germany, and the Underground Scene of metropolitan Istanbul, "HICCO" now is looking forward to his new adventures, playing music, that will send us into ecstasy, and emphasizing once more, why in future he is going to be reckoned with.
Influenced by the sound of traditional American hip hop and local DJ-grandeurs out of our club scene, Hicco evolved not only a limitless passion without boundaries for his duties, but within a few years he developed his own sound!
Among Deep House and Tech House, groovy and floating, somewhere between Frankfurt, Berlin, Istanbul and South America, he moves, playful and gloomy at the same time, but yet mature and straightforward.
Currently Hicco is the RedRoom resident in Neuss / Duesseldorf, where he regularly will show up and will be heard in the future.
