Biografie
Rud Cinz began his carreer behind the decks under the alter ego Lectricc. He bought his first mixing console at the age of 12. He was sick and tired of having to survive a minute without music every time he wanted to play a new CD or vinyl. This way he could choose a new song without his ears being tortured by silence.
The young Rud Cinz listened to electro halfway through highschool. Every Wednesdayafternoon he went snooping around at the local vinylshops. Looking for the new Boys Noize, Tiga or Justice. It always had to be vinyl, even at a young age he already understood what it was all about. When he was 15 years old he spent the money he had been working hard for and saving up to buy a moped completely on his first DJ-setup. He would rather ride his bike, thinking about which tracks he could blend together, then have the irritating noise of a moped in his ears all the time. After having practiced well he decided to join a local DJ-Contest. And with great success, he destroyed the competition and won the contest at his first live gig ever! He made a little bit of fame that night and people started booking him. His first really big gig was at the City Sounds festival in Dendermonde. He has been playing there regularly ever since.
At the vinylshops he bumped into other DJ's who invited him to their parties. This way he got in touch with Tecnum who told him all about techno. Cinz was looking for a new genre because 'Electro became too much bliep bliep." It was thanks to the other DJ's that he got to see Redhead doing a gig and decided to leave electro and focus on techno and techouse. He discovered that this genre had more to offer for him. Especially when he saw the big Richie Hawtin at Ten Days Off. Rud Cinz got his first real gig as a techno-DJ at Wonderland. together with….. After that he played every local technogig there is like Wham! and DjingelDjangel. Cinz himself is proud to have played Massimo Mephisto's Dope Sessions at decadance
Now he has become a member of Sonic Vision he decided to drop the name Lectricc forever and make a fresh start as Rud Cinz. A new booking agency, a new name, a new start.
