Trance Energy info - in English?

I will be traveling to Holland January 29 till February 11. I plan on attending Trance Energy 2004, and I am really excited. Can someone tell me if this will be a good party? How much does it cost? How many people are expected to attend? What is your opinion of the DJs? Is it acceptable to bring marihuana or mushrooms? Any other thoughts?

Would anyone like to meet up at the party?

I think it's a great party. I have been to seven editions and I love this party. The last, 10th edition was very good, so let's hope this one will even be better!! It's not allowed to take marihuana or mushrooms with you. Just be creative in hiding em for the drug/weapon search check at the gate...

Afraid? I'm excited as hell! The party scene in my country sucks. It has been a long time since I've been to an awsome party, and even then it was only about 15,000 ppl!

This will be my 7th edition of Trance Energy and every edition i went was great!

Think you will love it. The accomodation is good. Last time the sound system just blew you away.

I know allready that there will be 3 (!!) busses from Scandinavia.. 2 from Sweden and 1 from Denmark hehe . Apparantly TE is popular with foreigners

Can anyone tell me if they there will be pill testing offered at Trance Energy? If not, is it okay to bring in my own tester?

Testing has recently been prohibited ...and I'm pretty sure your tester will be confiscated by the security... after all, what would you need it for? illegal substances? (and I doubt there'll be enough decent light to check your test results anyway)

btw... imho you should never buy at parties... far too expensive and quality varies widely (unless you like cat vitamins)

Absolutely. (And if you attend a techno rave, ppl automatically assume you're gay.) The corn fields and bean fields are a lot bigger, though.

I've always liked Trance Energy very much, the audience is always great and there is always a very relaxed atmosphere (probably cause of the "E" )

Anyway, you have a big chance that you can buy your "E" inside @ some of the Partyflock people

Marihuana or mushrooms are allowed as far as I know but I don't know how much of it is allowed... But I would never use mushrooms @ a Big Party.

@ Trance Energy there is some Trance music, club and hardstyle/hardhouse. If You like that kind of music you probably will like this party too. In my opinion the DJ's are good, but I have heard them lots of times so I think it's less spectecular this time.

I don't think this is alloud in the "jaarbeurs", they have a zero tollerance! Behind the security stands police, zo if any drugs is found on you, the police take's you away(not sure on soft-drugs, but i won't take the risk)! But drugs is easy to hide, There are places where then can't search!

Indeed skunk and magic mushrooms are both not allowed in Utrecht. The local government holds a strict policy with a no tolerance rule. Maybe you are lucky and the bouncer who frisks you will allow you 2 take some skunk inside but magic mushrooms you surely can forget. But that does not only go for Trance Energy in Utrecht, magic mushrooms are illegal on every party, club or festival. Dried mushrooms have been banned last year and no club will let you enter with a fresh pack, the thought alone

I totally agree with Darkwise, you are a fool if you buy your ecstasy or any other drugs of that kind at the party. Quality of late is really poor and you wouldn’t want to enjoy Trance Energy from the First Aid post would you? When do you arrive in Holland, maybe you can explore the city of Utrecht first, the have some fine smartshop and coffeeshops.

Tickets should be bought way in advance, I mean if you look at the last 6 ID&T events (Trance Energy is an ID&T event, but you already knew that ) they were all sold out. So buying a ticket in advance is of the utmost importance!

Have a fun time there, you will love it!

1.Yes, I have already bought my tickets. I bought them from ticketbox.nl. They don't ship until Jan 5th because of holiday traffic, so I hope they arrive here in time, but they should.

2.I don't even think I'll be taking magic mushrooms at all while in Holland. I love to explore the psychedelic realm through the use of psilocybin, but this is not something I wish to do in a foreign land.

3. I don't think I'll have a problem sneaking in some skunk, I am from the USA, so I am used to having to be VERY cautious with my cannabis smoking habits.

4. As far as E goes, I think I have that all sorted out, and if it doesn't happen for some reason, it's okay, I still love trance even if I am sober.

5. I am curious about the TE meetup? On partyflock, it says it is at JP, is this a smaller club? It says the meeting is at 1:00? Is that when it begins? What are these meet-ups usually like? Is it a group where everyone knows each other? would I be considered an unwelcome outsider considering I have never been to a party in Holland and I am American?

I guess you are even more interessed that someone from Holland. I guess nobody speaks often to peoples from American on a party. I guess most will be very curious to your opinion about the party and so on.
