Live at Lola: the South African Rap Duo of bFAKE w/ Messa Music + the Destructive Penguins from the icecaps of holland!
Bfake,
Uhm bFAKE is sexy no matter your sexual preference and ultimately to be FAKE is knowing the ability to be anything... PinKi en Da Bruin are not race, gender nor genre specific and have performed on a wide range of platforms from sharing stages with South Africa’s most famous gospel artists to playing at one of Amsterdam’s most sex liberal parties ‘Love Dance’ in Paradiso. The high energy which is bFAKE encapsulates and arouses anyone with a tasteful Appetite. Their latest live extravaganza is an intimate 2 piece, a display of FAKENESS starring the mice brothers ‘PinKi en Da Bruin’. The onslaught of raucousness continues and has started infiltrating Europe as a whole with no funding, no features,
no budget, no label, no sponsors, no management nor radio, just pure disrespect and disregard for the rules of being real. “bFAKE because
originality is a trend and trends are for followers” - says PinKi.
In January 2013 Cape Town was visited by the world famous Urban Dance Squad DJ DNA. There he discovered PinKi en Da Bruin. Their music, their unique style and energy made DNA compare them to a mix between the Beastie Boys and the Prodigy. It was this summer that DJ DNA took them under his wing. He flew them to Europe where PinKi en Da Bruin performed on some of the biggest stages, some
hosting names like Coldplay and KRS-One. The project picked up by Dutch legend DJ DNA in 2013 has now culminated into a force which encapsulate everyone at sounds reach. 2018 sees the mice brothers extending their message passed the borders of The Netherlands and South Africa and although the old bird will not be seen on stage with the mice any longer, DNA will still be in the studio working on the FAKENESS. Expect much more SOUTH AFRICAN craziness in 2018.

Destructive Penguins
During the past 4 years Destructive Penguins have been skillfully tearing down the walls between jazz, hiphop, funk, rock, pop and reggae music. Wherever they play the roof is on fire. No surprise their fanbase is growing accordingly. Their 2016 debut EP Walkin' showcases the band's ability to brew their own sound out of a variety of music styles. Think a cocktail that will get into your head before you know it. With straightforward production Destructive Penguins underwrite they first and foremost are a live band that bloom on stage. All 5 tracks throb and pound and will make you sweat like a warm summer. Each one in its own right and with a firm dose of energy. Playing live in front of a jumping crowd is the band's heart and soul. With an impressive giglist behind them, Destructive Penguins are well prepared to climb any stage anywhere. Be prepared to party hard!
