It took tINI only a few years of playing in clubs to become one of Germany’s most highly acclaimed female artists in techno and house music. Her involvement with rhythms and beats started at the age of 7, when tINI, who is originally from Munich, began playing drums, while the curiosity and passion for sounds finally led her to first production attempts on her brother’s Atari. While her general interest in music has been aroused by new romantics, wave and grunge, her first dj adventures started with underground hip hop to rap. As her interest, knowledge and skills developed, her DJ style became more electronic when she stumbled upon Moodymann’s “Amerika”. As tINI's life is ruled by magic moments and deep acquaintanceships, her first longplayer has been named after her best friend "Tessa", who was the first person to introduce her to the colourful, sometimes dreamlike world of Ibiza, where tINI spent the summer of 2010 and produced a majority of her album. It's a musical documentation of an influencing stage of life, inspired by a chaotic but at the same time peaceful island and special people she met there and who can even be heard in many of the tracks. https://partyflock.nl/artist/49154
TIM ANDRESEN first began DJing in 1986, and has come a long way since. Driven by the moments of inspiration, he is one to follow his dreams through equal parts of talent and hard work – more than most people realize. From a background of playing in his hometown in the late eighties to promoting highly successful parties in clubs and warehouses in the nineties and early 00s, he gained an enviable following. Music has now taken him to nearly 40 different countries across Europe, Asia and South America with shows at historical clubbing institutions including Space, Pacha, Privelegé, Eden, Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, The Egg and Fabric to name a few. Since 2005, he has held an ongoing residency at Culture Box – described by Mixmag as “Copenhagen’s pioneering platform for cultivating electronic music”, and rated by Resident Advisor as “one of Europe’s best small clubs”. Tim’s countless DJ sets have played a key role in helping to secure the club its unique position, achieving worldwide recognition and 6 awards for Best Danish Club. https://partyflock.nl/artist/88844
RAW DISTRICT is a fledgling house project from Belgian duo Vernon Bara and Massimo DaCosta. Their outstanding work has led to them garnering huge support from credible tastemakers including Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Jamie Jones, Mark Farina and DJ Sneak. Early 2013, the duo decided to create Raw District as a side project to explore the deeper, darker side of dance music. In their own words “Raw District feature fewer samples and more organic sounds. Our trademark soul, funk and disco influences are still evident, and are mixed in with fresh European sounds”. With a few releases on some of the most established labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Moon Harbour, Souvenir Music and Defected – they have undoubtedly secured themselves a reputation of being in-demand and talented producers.
Aside from their steady slew of releases, Raw District’s reputation as DJ’s has reached heady proportions with performances at renowned clubs and festivals such as Extrema Outdoor, Dour Festival, DGTL, Fuse Club or Wecandance – as well as their residency at the highly acclaimed Labyrinth Club in Belgium. https://partyflock.nl/artist/77453
MAXIM LANY is one of the great Belgian DJ’s, but has long since moved past the Belgian borders. Staying true to his roots, Maxim is still living and working in his beloved city of Ghent, where he made his first DJ sets with the records owned by mum and dad. Lany is famed for his tightly mixed adventurous sets, in which fat bangers and odd-ones out get an equal share. It’s his very own universally acclaimed sound, which not only made him a household name, but also led to starting his own label and having the creative freedom to do what he wants. That is the key here, because Maxim is at his best when he is completely unleashed. https://partyflock.nl/artist/68527
