Four families, one king, one crowning.

Our beloved Gypsy King is no longer with us…..
The King of the Nomads, the King of the Schmertz, the King of Passion, the King of no Regrets, the King of the Free, The King of the Mad…
So, as one can imagine, this leaves a hole in our gypsy heart.

But…….Spirit is coming, New Year’s Eve is the date!
We found a nice location where we can wonder, get caught up in theatre, take on a game of armwrestling, listen to violin battles, drink absinth and dance to Balkan bands and magnificent dj’s.

This interactive theatre concept in which visitors, actors, performers and musicians are all intertwined. The perfect blend of theatre, music, dance, opera and subliminal acts. All visitors (souls) dress up as one of the four Gypsy families, take on their own roles and wade into the circus concept in which actors, performers, live musicians and several Gypsy storylines challenge and capture each soul within our immersive theatre show.

Expect the following:

❧ Opening with a true Gypsy welcome, in which every soul is ascribed to one of four Gypsy families. -- while Gypsy actors welcome you and challenge you to partake.
❧ Live Gypsy instrumentalists can be found everywhere.
❧ World music from Jan van Kampen, Awanto 3 and many others.
❧ Opera with Morschi Franz and Maria.
❧ Some Chemistry with a Trumpet / Saxophone battle.
❧ Live full Gypsy Band Trikosis.
❧ mps Pilot world music together with a copper ensemble.
❧ The coronation of the King of the Gypsies through a musical battle between the four Gypsy families.
❧ Poetry, singing and live music transfer the poetic Gypsy spirit.
❧ Flamenco dance and performances.
❧ Interactive theater and small private performances.
❧ Electronic world music connects all performances and the world of the Gypsies unfolds everywhere.

Meanwhile...

We find ourselves in a Gypsy theater where your future is predicted, arms are wrestled, Gypsy comedy takes place, snake dancers challenge you, all the while being immersed into the world of the past, becoming a true Gypsy and revealing the complete story; The story of the truly free expressive spirit.

Four families will gather to choose their new leader.
We call upon the Belgrado’s, the Gitano’s, the Romano’s and the Siciliano’s.

King of the Gypsies, een theatraal bombastische samenkomst van 'free spirits' waarbij bezoekers, acteurs, performances en muzikanten door elkaar lopen. De perfecte blend van theater, alle soorten muziek, dans, opera en subliminale acts.
Alle bezoekers gaan verkleed als een van de gypsy families, nemen eigen rollen aan en waden zich in het circus concept waarbij subtiele acteurs, performances, live muzikanten en gypsy verhaallijnen een ieder uitdagen en meenemen.

Met vuurspuwers, tarot kaart lezers, circus en alle mogelijke performers bevindt iedereen zich in het 'immersive' theater show

❧ De kroning van de Koning van de Gypsy door een battle van de vier families, waarbij muzikaal wordt uitgevochten wie de baas is.

❧ Flamenco Dans en performances
❧ Interactief theater en kleine persoonlijke performances

Elektronische wereld muziek verbind alle performances aan elkaar en de wereld van de Gypsies ontvouwt zich overal.

❧ Ondertussen
Bevinden we ons in het gypsy theater waar je toekomst wordt voorspeld, er armpje wordt gedrukt, Gypsy Comedy plaatsvindt, slangen dansers je uitdagen, je wordt meegenomen in de wereld van het verleden, je verder wordt verkleed tot true gypsy en de verhaallijn zich helemaal bloot geeft.

De story van de echte vrije expressieve geest is wat het verhaal die nacht ons verteld.
