Seemingly out of nothing, through dust and with no bang, VRIL appeared on the scene. His music made such beautiful noise that it instantly found his place on Marcel Dettmann’s selection for his “Conducted” CD and on Ostgut’s release schedule. His sound is a search for the evergoing movement, exploring a never stopping energy. Once he catches you in his groove it will shine so bright you won’t be able to escape it. Tales of his live sets being heard at the Fusion Festival and the Berghain all share the same common feature that it was an as euphoric as energetic travel in sound. His recent release on Delsin records has been acclaimed and played everywhere, while his highly anticipated debut album “Torus” from 2014 contained some great surprises. www.facebook.com/vrilgiegling
KONSTANTIN established Giegling alongside Dustin, Dwig, Ateq and Rafael, mutual spirits with the same idealistic goal of creating something special that was “about the things music and a community can do to you” says Konstantin. With that emphasis on community Giegling came into existence, and even though those first parties merely lasted 4 sessions, what they created in that time cemented the future of what would become the collective and the label. “We wanted to carry this energy, we wanted to save this vibe.” www.giegling.net
Our Labyrinth first lady AMELIE LENS truly is one of the most exciting export products Belgium has to offer these days. Amelie Lens is taking the scene by storm ever since releasing her solid debut EP on the Italian Lyase Recordings. A collective sign of approval came from Berlin based power duo Pan-Pot who reached out to Amelie and asked her to get involved with Second State, Tassilo and Thomas’ own imprint. A happy home to grow up in and a promising platform for Lens to release her music on for many years to come.
