LINE UP:
1988 and Kompass Klub present
*Adam Beyer
From the fertile Swedish underground to the peak of global club culture, the reign of Adam Beyer continues to pull on the heartstrings of modern techno like few others of the time. A festival headliner, sought after recording artist and enigmatic DJ entity, the Stockholm-based heavyweight’s brick-by-brick legacy has seen his functional and focussed take on the techno sound become one of the genre’s most sought after and respected sounds.
As much a musical identity as it is an attitude within the underground world, the two decade and counting reign of Beyer’s Drumcode imprint has seen the home-grown label evolve into a versatile brand recognized across the globe. From branded events and festival stages to the extension of its branded radio show across more than 53 countries, the label continues to deliver cutting edge records with the DJ very much in mind. 2016 spells the brand’s 20th anniversary, the inauguration of Junction 2 Festival in the UK and more exciting international tour duties than ever before for the Swedish techno icon and his unshakable musical legacy.

*Louisahhh
Raised in an atmosphere bursting with passion for music, LOUISAHHH (born Louisa Pillot) started singing and playing instru- ments at an early age before discovering a passion for DJing. Starting at age 17, sneaking into New York City clubs with fake IDs, LOUISAHHH (a name chosen ‘as a war cry or a shriek of delight’) has since honed a style that is hard but deep, tough but tender.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2006, LOUISAHHH became half of house-centric production duo NYCPARTYINFO, releasing records with Throne of Blood, Nurvous and Young Adults. However, it wasn’t until Danny Daze requested some that LOUISAHHH’s talents as a singer and songwriter began to shine, gaining more notoriety as modern classic ‘Your Everything’ climbed the deep house charts.
Amidst this whirlwind of excitement, a fateful meeting of French techno wonderkind, Brodinski spiraled into a fast friendship and eventual collaboration for Brodinski’s young label, Bromance Records. With ‘Let The Beat Control Your Body’ and ‘Nobody Rules The Streets’ becoming peak-time anthems, and explosive vocal collaborations in the realms of both deep house and techno, LOUISAHHH was getting ready to release her own productions into the world.

* Farrago
Farrago surfaces as a new name on the Belgian techno scene albeit with a familiar face. In 2013 Sam Deliaert formerly known as Talbot Wood was picked up by compatriots Jorn and Tom - from Other Heights and Curle Recordings respectively - under who's flag he played multiple showcases and live shows across Europe throughout '13 & '14.
The name change is motivated by the meaning of the word itself. Farrago, literally 'a perplexing mixture', is the alignment and legacy of his earlier work merged with new ideas and recent development. Arpeggiated melodies reverberating endlessly to the point where they are deemed tangible driven by the resonating sound of a classic 4/4 kickdrum. It's the perfect marriage between body and soul.
For now, preparing a live performance built around the Octatrack - the beating heart of the setup - is his main priority. Meanwhile though, some of the more captivating patterns and synthesis from his other Elektron unit, the Analog Four, have already found their way through a recording device. This preceded a connection with ARTS, a young but already quite established Berlin based techno label, home to the likes of Dax J, Keith Carnal, Inigo Kennedy, Shlømo and il capitano: Emmanuel.

*Lebawski
Lebawski is a deejay with early roots in hip hop and drum and bass. As a Decadance resident and co-founder of Moonday, he often switches between house and techno instead of sticking with one style, to maintain some sort of storytelling throughout his sets. From smooth build ups to heavy closings, Lebawski isn't getting tired.

* Massimo Mephisto
Massimo Mephisto is a Ghent based DJ. His main focus lies on dark Techno, exploring the drifty hypnotic beats, Massimo has his finger firmly on the pulse. His style has grown throughout the years but Techno music has never let him down and will become the key ingredient is most of his sets and studio work. Mixing up styles and moods, but always focused firmly on the dance floors’ needs and desires. Massimo’s sets have energy, precision and most of all heavy kicks and steady baselines.
He keeps his sets ‘old skool’ with his vast collection of vinyl records. Through hard work, a passion for music, a love for vinyl and an unwavering dedication to his craft, he has garnered recognition from labels like Tulipa Records (2011), Bonzai Basiks Label (2012) and remixes from Soren Aalberg and Shyam. Support was gained from Hernan Cattaneo and Guy Gerber.
Unafraid to journey off the well-worn path, he founded Kowboys and Indians together with Natalie Redee, a unique Techno concept in Ghent.
Dedicated, driven and focused, he has a passion for making music with integrity and soul. His inspirations are drawn from his experiences and continuous studio work and solo projects. At the forefront of a new generation of DJ/Producers, Massimo is simply spreading his love for music and his own interpretation of cutting edge Techno to the
party crowd and its clubs. Causing ear damage on events like Laundry Day, Kowboys and Indians, Tribes Gatherings, Liberty White, Chronicles and House Clubbing.

*Thang
Almost any DJ who went through the ropes will tell you there’s nothing that beats the close contact and almost physical energy from playing in a compact atmosphere. Thang, with residencies at petite but quality clubs such as Magic and Club 69, is not different. Not that the big stage frightens him, no sir: on his resume are festivals such as Pukkelpop, Laundry Day, Bestival and Valtifest, and large clubs such as Barcelona’s Razzmatazz are as welcoming to him as he is to them. Every weekend a different story.

Daniela, polish rooted, born and raised in one of Munich´s suburbs, 6th floor, left door. After investigating many fields of profession, studying an ingenieur program and communication design, she had no other choice than dedicating her life to music. Music was and is her profession. Her track "Did You Ever" was recently featured on Moodyman's DJ mix for "DJ Kicks" on K7!. 2010 marked one of the initial sparks in Daniela´s young musical career and gave her upwind to continue creating electronic music. Her production Elle Routine (Original Mix) won the QWARTZ 6 Electronic Music Award in the category “Dancefloor & Clubbing” in Paris , among artists such as Laurie Anderson, Alejandro Jodorovsky, Gudrun Gut, Apparat, Alec Empire, the ancestors of Pierre Schaeffer, François Bayle and others.

A 30 minutes show to the topic of the night "The Apocalypse". A mix of classical and electronic music, processing classical pieces of composers like Schostakovich, polish folklore, vocals, drum machines and synthesizers.
Next to playing gigs, Daniela is currently working on her 3rd album and some more upcoming, own releases, as well as preparing the next Parallel Berlin releases, to spread more musical colors into the world.
_____
At a very young age Daniela fell in love with music. Whilst singing polish folklore songs with her family, Daniela´s curiosity was aroused and she started investigating italodisco, pop, rock, oldies, funk, soul, grunge, hip hop, rap, trip hop, jazz, wave, rave, psychedelic, classical, indie, blues, ska, punk rock, hardcore, nu metal, experimental, RnB, as well as all existing electronic music styles.
It was the year 1996 when Daniela started buying vinyl and spinning records. Her first DJ adventures started in 1999, playing drum´n bass, house and ambient at clubs and events in and around Munich.
In 2000 she founded her first band. During the next six years in bands, Daniela learned in an independent way to play several instruments, wrote many songs, arrangements, recorded an album, performed multiple live gigs and during this voyage she took a deep breath of various genres and ways to make music.
In 2007 Daniela rediscovered club music, bought her first synthesizer and started writing electronic music and playing electronic live sets. First digital releases followed soon, supported by Ken Ishii and Laurent Garnier.
