To celebrate the last day of Noorderzon, OOST and #CHURCH invite Boston legend Kon.
Kon has been DJ’ing since 1985, spinning in clubs since 1990. This will be a rare opportunity to see one of the best Disco/Funk/Soul/Boogie DJ’s around. His remixes and reworks of classic dance floor tracks led Gilles Peterson to name him “edit/rework king of 2011” and Soul Clap describe him as the "best disco DJ in the world”.
Thee J Johanz has been on the wheels of steel since he was about fourteen years old. He’s been creating music since he was twelve. After playing in several well known bands he became one of the first generation Dutch house and techno DJ’s who brought Chicago house, Detroit techno and other new dance music to the Netherlands. Expect a more disco/boogie/world kinda vinyl set from Johanz this night.
