For the special 17th pride edition of G | O | D - Get On Down, we're inviting Honey Dijon back at Studio 80! Dijon grew up in Chicago and charmed her way into legendary clubs like Ron Hardy's Music Box from an absurdly young age. She first wrapped her head around DJing by watching Derrick Carter play records in his loft and still counts him as a best friend. It was after a move to New York in the '90s that she really cut her teeth as a DJ and, later, as a producer. Besides that, Dijon found succes in programming music for runway shows and already played some of the world's best clubs including Chicago's Smart Bar, Danny Krivit's 718 Sessions and Panorama Bar. Last year we had a blast with this New York based lady, so it's time for another round. Support comes from favorite locals Daan Groeneveld, Dollkraut, LUPE and Marsman DJ.
