27 mei is het eindelijk weer zo ver! Maak je klaar voor de 4e editie van Deeper Underground in Ede. Wij hebben lang naar een goed programma gezocht en uiteindelijk is dat ook zeker gelukt! Met trots mogen wij het volgende programma aan jullie presenten.

Jan Liefhebber:
Jan Liefhebber has been an important element of the Dutch techno scene since the early 90’s.
In 1995 he set up the record label Highland Beats to provide a platform for the acid and techno that he played in his DJ sets.
Highland Beats went on to become one of the most successful techno labels of the 90’s and it provided a spring board for many upcoming artists. One of the first of its kind in the Netherlands, Highland Beats has inspired many labels and artists over the years.
Jan’s DJ career started off in the underground techno scene. Together with some friends he organised parties in crazy industrial locations like old abandoned farm houses, fields, tunnels and warehouses.
Jan’s musical taste differed from what most people were playing and he soon made a name for himself due to his musical diversity and refreshingly different sets.
The popularity of Highland Beats fuelled his success and his firstinternational bookings soon followed.
In 2003 Jan released his first co-production. This led to a storm of remix requests and he has since (co-)produced on many prolific labels.
The main reason that Jan has remained a sought after DJ is that he doesn’t let any trend dictate what he plays while still evolving and progressing.
Jan Liefhebber has performed in Austria, Belgium, Brasil, Croatia, Turkey, France, the UK, USA, Ireland, Italy, Slovenia, Germany, Malta, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, Poland and Russia at some of the world’s most prolific events.

Milo Moraes:
Al op jonge leeftijd ontwikkelt Milo Moraes zijn liefde voor muziek. Als zoon van een Uruguayaanse muzikant maakt hij vroeg kennis met de gitaar, de stijlen waarin hij zich vervolgens ontwikkelt zijn blues, jazz en rock. Hij speelt in diverse bandjes en studeert een jaar aan het conservatorium jazz te Utrecht.
Als hij op Awakenings Festival Richie Hawtin voor het eerst ziet optreden, weet hij dat Techno zijn nieuwe creatieve domein is. Kort daarna start hij met draaien en binnen een jaar staat hij in Lust, Tivoli, club Lux en is hij resident bij Kranck (Utrecht, dock 154)daarnaast draait hij in Utrechtse Technotempel Poema naast namen zoals Ille bitch, Kalkbrenner, Danilo Vigorito, miss melera, Flavio Dias enz.
Ook heeft hij de halve finale van de TWSTD dj contest in 2010 bereikt en zal hij in maart van 2011 nogmaals proberen om de halve finale te winnen.
Milo’s stijl is veelzijdig en bestaat uit onder andere deephouse, techhouse en minimal, zijn hart ligt echter bij de meer funky techno.

Roy el Kei:
It started when he was seventeen years old. The young Leroy Konjanan bought his first turntables and records from his heroes like Chris Liebing, Marco Carola and the Dutch Speedy J. Soon after that he couldn't get his hands of the turntables. After years of practice, he had his first performance for a small crowd. In 2006 Leroy Konjanan participated in a dj-contest in Rotterdam under the alias "Roy El Kei" at one of the best night clubs in the Netherlands and won after crushing his opponents. After winning one contest he wanted more. So he participated in several other dj-contests like Partyflock (Flockers) where he performed for more than 20.000 people where he also won. After that he won at Holland’s biggest Dance-radiostation: SLAM FM "dj-talent of the year". Than it went fast for Roy El Kei and he performed in almost every big club in the Netherlands. After performing at several party's he started his own Techhouse/Techno concept: DEEP in Hedon Zwolle with one of the best sound systems in the Netherlands. Many big artists came to Zwolle to perform, artists like: Michel de Hey, The Advent(Portugal) and Bart Skils. In 2011 Roy El Kei is coming with some releases and he is working on his new dj-act with the software Traktor in combination with Ableton Live and Maschine. For this summer Roy El Kei has been booked for some big festivals like Fusion of Dance. This year is going to be a promising year for Roy El Kei.

Rob Koning:
Rob Koning, is geboren op 1991 in Eindhoven als Robbert de Koning.
Hij woont nu in Nijmegen en is druk bezig als dj en organisator op verschillende feesten.
Rob begon als electro dj maar kwam al snel achter wat hij echt wilde draaien. Zo begon zijn liefde voor deep house en tech house. Ook vind je elementen van rauwe techno terug in zijn sets.
