TechnA is all about a female take on Tech House & Techno. Our goal is to create a regular club night with an all female (inter)national Tech House and Techno line-up. This will also be a platform for upcoming female talent to to showcase themselves and their work.
TechnA is not about being better or worse than our male colleagues, it's about recognising that women have their own different way of practicing music and going with that flow. It's all about the music and giving clubbers a different Tech House & Techno experience!
TechnA is also about realising that female talent maybe have to nurtured or coached differently and providing a place to learn and grow. We want to connect people and hope we become a breeding ground for future collaborations and (inter)national careers.

TechnA biedt ook tijdens ADE vrouwelijke dj's een podium

Achter de draaitafel is Amsterdam Dance Event vooral een mannenfeestje. Om dj-ende dames in de spotlight te zetten, organiseert Seré Seesing (Ères) op zondag 18 oktober TechnA in No.129. De slechts 13 jaar oude, maar zeer getalenteerde Kendis trapt de nacht af en deelt de draaitafels met Lia Organa, Lolla Tek, Miss Electric, Xara en Ères.

Op zondag 19 oktober zet TechnA, dé organisatie die draait om het promoten van vrouwelijke techno dj's en producers, een bijzondere stap. Tijdens Amsterdam Dance Event host TechnA zijn eerste clubnacht met een line-up bestaande uit de voornaamste female techno en techhouse dj's uit binnen- en buitenland.
