Kraak & Smaak - I Don't Know Why (ft. Mayer Hawthorne)

Kraak & Smaak just previewed their upcoming single 'I Don't Know Why', featuring a collaboration with Grammy-nominated soul royalty Mayer Hawthorne! It will also be the first single for their brand new album - Juicy Fruit, which will be released around a month later.

'I Don't Know Why' is a true meeting of minds, with Kraak & Smaak providing a popping boogie track on top of which the Tuxedo frontman has delivered his signature sweet and catchy soul melodies. And if that wasn't enough to satiate the appetite, they also asked funk aficionado and crate digger extraordinaire Kon for a full on tasty disco rework, just built for the club and providing more evidence backing up Gilles Peterson's claim he is king of the edit/rework.

The Juicy Fruit album - more info to follow suit! - will be released June 10 on Jalapeño Records.
The official release party with live band and guests will take place on June 11 @ the Paradiso Tolhuistuin venue in Amsterdam.

PLS&TY & Autolaser - 'Hiding From The Rain'

Following on from their hugely successful debut original collaboration 'Used To This', PLS&TY and Autolaser return with their latest co-production, the RnB-tinged, chill-trap single 'Hiding From The Rain'.

Blissed out and dripping with soul, the cut carries on the pair's obsession with RnB and hip-hop music while giving it a modern twist that fits perfectly with today's audience. Expertly blending the old school vibe with trend-making future bass elements and dreamy, glitch synth work, MARØ's smooth falsetto creating the perfect compliment to the deeper elements of the single. A stunning and sensual track, 'Hiding From The Rain' oozes out of the speakers and slips across the dance floor with ease.

Felix Krocher releases remix of Groovant Boss Ant Brooks' 'Destination'

Techno legend Felix Kröcher returns with a refined remix of Groovant label head Ant Brooks' track 'Destination.' Serving as his debut appearance on the label, Felix's remix is available to purchase alongside the original track and remixes from Alberto Ruiz and Adriana Vega via all digital retailers.

Pulsating groove and gated synths dominate Felix's remix of 'Destination,' as the energy is kept alive with classic techno hi-hat syncopation and a driving kick. As the claps ring out and the rides and pad emerge, the track develops into a true sonic symphony, specially built for the warehouse.

Alesso unveils official video for 'I wanna know'

Alesso shares a high-impact new video for his first single of 2016, "I Wanna Know" featuring Nico & Vinz, which has amassed over 9 million plays on Spotify alone in just a few weeks. Directed by Colin Tilley, it showcases the love story of Alesso's stuntman (played by real stuntman Wyatt Cornell) who yearns for the love of the leading lady. But as so often in life, even if you take a bullet for someone you don't always get what you want. Watch below and share. More big news coming soon.
