Summer 2012 Starbeach line-up set to scorch Greek summer

The 2012 Starbeach summer schedule has been released and is promising to deliver an EPIC summer of entertainment and unforgettable events.

Tourists flock to Hersonissos, Crete for the endless sunshine, wild partying, beautiful scenery and amazing Greek culture. In the midst of all this, Starbeach has built a reputation as one of Europe's premiere outdoor party venues and 2012 will build on that reputation with a serious line-up of heavy-hitting DJs from around the world.

Monday
On Monday nights the legendary Beachflirt white parties will be headlined by acts Quintino, Hardwell, Lucien Foort, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, La Fuente and Shermanology. Designed to showcase the seductive Greek lifestyle, these events will have thousands of party-people dressed in white dancing under the stars, by the sea, to the latest chart-topping tracks.

Thursday
Thursday nights unleash our new mind-blowing event: Lovestar NEON. Created to be one of the wildest parties you'll experience, the night is transformed with black-lights and fluro set to eclectic and dirty house music. Party-goers will be painted up in neon paint and the effect will keep the senses on overload and the energy levels peaking. With our second stage converting into a techno-Terrace, all the ravers out there will be cutting loose. DJs in attendance include Vato Gonzalez with MC Tjen, Laidback Luke, Real El Canario, Dyna, Billy the Kit and The Flexican.

Trough the week
Revellers who have made it through a week of intense partying are rewarded on Fridays with a free sunset pool-party at the Starbeach Recovery event. Recovery resident DJ Rico South will keep the sun-kissed bikini-clad bodies cavorting in and around the pool until dusk.

Special events
In addition to these weekly parties, Starbeach is hosting two massive Special Events. Wednesday August 1 sees Hardwell present his Revealed show that saw him voted into the top 25 DJs in the world last year. This genius of dance music never fails to astound everyone at his shows and his Starbeach sets have become legendary, so this will be one not to miss.

Afrojack
Then on Wednesday August 8 Grammy award winner and Starbeach icon Afrojack returns to his second home – the Starbeach stage he made a name for himself on over 7 years ago. His Starbeach event last year was one of the highlights of the 2011 season and he will no doubt take things to an even higher level this time around. This event promises to be a shining moment in an unbelievable summer schedule.
