Biografie
·While the international music scene sees itself being divided between screaming synths and overwhelming minimalism, Don Rimini doesn't care and sticks to his roots for our greatest pleasure.
From "Whatever" to "Clubland EP" (released in January 2014), his love for House and techno has only deepened over the years.
Departing from his earlier "electro" style, a new Don Rimini is born!
The last "Electro" page has officially been turned and a new chapter has begun. The next installment of the Don perfectly underlines this radical change with the same motto that animated his will for the past 7 years: fun first!
The French producer shows us a new approach with his "Chicago House Opera." But do not be fooled, this building isn't made to just sit and enjoy the diverse buildups and tricks...it's made to dance, sweat, booty shake and a sing the famous Ghetto House voice gimmicks.
No false notes, we are indeed in Chicago, as heard on the first title "Dance To Chicago," which offers us a first class trip to the dance floor. While listening to the lyrics of "Do U Wanna F...", the little brother of "Whatever" is not far away and it is just as effective as its predecessor. The vocals are major assets in Ghetto House music. This form of unique expression allows chanting salacious lyrics by singing happily. So that the party never stops, Donnie thinks of us. He offers "Non Stop" and we jump, shuffle, and twerk to the intoxication of a night you do not want to end too quickly. "Music Non Stop," as Krafwerk would have said.
The story does not end there since Dj Lil'Tal, a legendary producer Dance Mania Records and Chicago native, lent himself brilliantly to the game remix. The duo Ryme aka Rynecologist & Meech (BNR TRAX) issued a version in perfect accord with the spirit of the city of Illinois and their vision of the game. Chambray (Ultramajic) prodigy of Berlin, also accepts the invitation and reveals a powerful martial remix.
Of course, the house which hosts this EP is none other than Booty Call Records, the well respected label "Ghetto" Parisien, that includes pioneers Dj Funk, Dj Deeon, Dj Godfather, and as well as Maddjazz, Kaptain Cadillac, DJ Kesmo, Marvy and many more!
