The Unbreakable

Wesley de Blij was born in Rotterdam on the 26th of March.
He grew up in Delft where he achieved his HAVO-Diploma.

Still in primary school he discovered the early House-music by his uncle who's cd's he taped on cassette.

A couple of years later the genres gabber and mellow where seperated and Wesley's interrest for the harder styles was born. Listening to the Thunderdome cd's on his walkman he fell in love with Hardcore.

A Radio Active Zone-shop opened his doors in Delft in 1995, a part of Rige Entertainment. In the shop you could buy records, cd's, merchandise and a lot more Hardcore-stuff. Behind the counter you could find artists like MC Raw, Distortion and Da Dark Twins. On Fridays there were guestperformances by Don Demon, Dr. Z-Vago and many others.
"You could find me here anytime. First I bought the flyerpackages to decorated my room, later my first record: Ruffneck – Fear of a Ruff Planet.
I even didn't have a turntable yet!"

His father gave him his first turntable when he was 14 years old. He bought a simple mixer and a headphone himself so he could start practicing.
"At that time I had one regular turntable and one turntable with pitch control, so I started practicing to set the speeds of the records equally. I loved the track Atmos-Fear and used it many times in my mixing." His record collection grew expedencially through the years and his mixing skills were getting better and better.

Nowadays The Unbreakable stands for high quality entertainment on stage. This includes joy for the ears by good mixing skills and the best tracks, aswell as enjoy for the eyes. This Dj is going completely crazy behind the decks and has a lot of interaction with the crowd. The styles you can expect from The Unbreakable are Hardcore, Darkcore, Industrial, Early Rave and Freestyle.

Being a partyanimal for quite some years, this DJ knows what works behind the wheels of steel and what's not.
Otherwise he can change very easily from one style to another.
