Biografie
Growing up Shila loves to sing & dance, and favours music-genres like pop, latin, disco, funk, r&b, and drum-rhythms. At the age of 21 Shila meets Randy Joubert (entrepreneur/ musician) aka Randy Katana (producer/ DJ/ mentor) with whom she partners up. She proves to be a writer & vocalist, and is naturally skilled for discovering new talents. It's he who introduces her to Dance-music & Techno in the 90ties. She later becomes his PA/ roadmanager/ co-producer.
Without any knowledge of DJ gear or any aspirations of becoming a DJ, Shila agrees to follow his newly developed Digital DJ course in 2016, merely for testing purposes. It's then when she proves to possess yet another talent. After finishing the course, June 2016, she landed a weekly slot on B2D. Fully supported by her partner, she continues to evolve, following her own path in her favourite genre Techno, which can best be labelled as TechnoFusion (a mix of energising techno, melodic & monotone, yet groovy with a tribal twist).
