Biografie
Mark's journey in Hardcore music began in 1993 when he stumbled upon a Carl Cox tape whilst at a friend's house and was instantly hooked. As the years went on the music progressed from break beat hardcore to UK hardcore, but he always felt that there was something missing. He always seemed to be searching for that something extra until he had his first experience of Hardcore Techno via a Dj Fergus tape. From then on, he was firmly focused on the genre.
He was spending a lot of time with like-minded individuals (Joe ET & Discord), who even at an early age already had decks and were mixing. After many months if not years of studying, he made the decision to start to try and master the art of mixing. He purchased his first set of Omnitronic belt drives and began to build up a collection of vinyl's ranging from labels like MOH Records, Gobble, Fix and D-boy through to Social Parasite, Deathchant & Cunt records.
The obsession reached a new high after going to his first ever rave in 2001 at the now legendary North radical technology in Stoke-on-Trent and witnessing the likes of Dj Dolphin, The Dj Producer and DJ Scorpio. This led him to attending nearly every major event up and down the country for many years.
In 2009, he made a life decision to go and serve in the armed forces, which meant for the time being music and DJing had to take a back seat. After serving 5 years, he came out raring to go and instantly began mixing again in the digital era.
As MPEP, he began playing a regular slot on radio show called Techno Tuesdays organised by @Matt Freebass and @Helix. He got his first break soon in 2014 when he was handed his debut at Oblivion Underground Events: Oblivion Underground. From there, he has since gone from strength to strength performing at Soldiers of Core and Hell is Hard."
