Biografie
From his very first gig he went to, the 21 year old DJ/Remixer Veepee was fascinated by the nightlife. In 2009, at the age of 16 he organised with a friend their first commercial gigs for friends and locals. Afterwards Veepee's interest in organizing events switched into sharing his passion for house music. In 2011 he placed himself behind the decks and started dj'ing with virtual softwares and a controller. Some friends heard the potential in his mixtapes and soon he had the opportunity to turn the decks in some local clubs like Cirque Mystic (Aalst), JH Zenith (Dendermonde) and on a lot of private parties. This made he was encouraged to go for it.
Exploring some produce-softwares, he began to make his own mashups and edits. After loads of amateur level mashups, the first worthy were a fact. Some got picked up by a few online blogs such as Top House Music Blog, Digital World Records, Bitbeats,... After making masses of posted and unposted mashups, mashing up tracks became a trademark of Veepee.
His skills didn't stay unheard; in the summer of 2012 Veepee has got the privilege to spin several times the decks in a brand new trendy club in Aalst, Comme ça and also got the chance to prove himself in the most prestigious club in Aalst, The Factory. With the support of friends and fans, Veepee also participated at the DJ Contest sent out by The Factory. Leaving some excellent dj's behind him, Veepee has won the contest and became a monthly guest DJ. With his mixing skills and just several months of experience he improved a lot of people and set up a respectable name in the DJ scene of Aalst.
Some fellow DJ's took Veepee to different clubs and places where he could evince his qualities to various kind of crowds. After some warmup sets in Blue Buddha Lounge (Knokke-Heist) in 2014, Veepee could prove himself during several highly crowded club nights as the main DJ. Only one month after his debut warmup set, his trips to the Belgian coast fetched him a new residency at one of the most classy clubs of Belgium.
Spinning the decks at parties and clubs as well, Veepee is a self-declared 2 face-DJ. Known for his uplifting progressive house and mashup-sets, but respected for his (Deep) House sets as well. He played guest-sets in: The Factory (Aalst) - RIVA (Destelbergen) - Fantasia Festival - JIM - La Gomera (Affligem) - Noxx (Antwerpen) - Comme ça (Aalst) - Blue Buddha Club (Knokke) - L'étage (Gent) - Barvista (Leuven) - Loca Bar (Ternat) - Rumba (Leuven) - Lime (Ghent) and many smaller pubs and clubs. Veepee already had the privilege to share the decks with some highly respected and upcoming DJ's like Daniel Bovie, Dimaro, Neon, Dave Lambert, DJ Licious, Laurent Wéry, Stavroz, Smith Davis, Sammir, Christopher Phonk, Laurent Saint Yves, Eric Powa B, DJ Joeri, Maxim Lany, Nico Morano, Zohra, Vince Nova, Nobels, Q-Bix, Wild & Dann, Maori, Cdrique, Fred Astèr, Gemax, FreeFall, Jannick and many more.
But the best is yet to come.
