Once in charge of Elastica's bass duties and hailing from London, Sheila Chipperfield is now a dancefloor botherer all over Europe and is a resident on the Berlin club scene with her mix of oddball/tech house/electro/wonky accidents. She clearly has problems defining what she does because she has a very short attention span and enjoys "being a pain in the arse for people who take these things too seriously". What started off as a one-off laugh at a party in London, snowballed into a residency at the legendary Ghetto in Soho and guest spots at the most anarchic parties, aftershows and festivals both sides of the Atlantic. Most recently at the Berlin Festival party with Peaches and Distortion Festival in Copenhagen which ended up so packed with people crowdsurfing and using flamethrowers that the police had to break it up. It has never been her motivation to appeal to the chin-strokers at the bar as these people have no friends...
