Biografie
November rain, dark skies. We present you: Bons & Lawish. Two souls passionate about techno music, producing and playing the most outrageous sounds in Belgium and The Netherlands lately. They're always keeping quality high and frequencies low. However, Bons & Lawish are not new to the scene.
Bons already started out in 2005 under the pseudonym Lauhum. As a member of the Kingsize Audio concept he kept the underground vibe alive at The Zoo, with the help of Pierre (Fuse), Maxim and DjLiquid. His live set delivered him airtime at StuBru and gigs at Silo and 10daysOff. His live experience and technical knowledge established at the SAE Institute (Brussels) makes him no stranger to the techno community. And then there's Lawish, born and raised in the dusty fields of Haspengouw. Being a full blood musician and DJ, he's been educated in music theory and praxis since an early age. He never misses an opportunity to integrate his musical knowledge into techno productions. Analog synths, digital synths, guitars, percussion,…he loves and plays it all. In september '14 Bons & Lawish released their first 'Lost in Theory' EP on Crossfade sounds, accompanied by firm Dubbler and Terje Saether remixes, delivering them national and international acclaim and support. They also released on K-84 records, Blowing Haze Records, and more to come.
Bons & Lawish never forget to praise the new visionaries (think about Beck and Pfirter), while always honoring the grandpa's (think about Mills and Clarke). Café d'Anvers, Decadance Ghent, Forty Five: wherever they are, techno is the message. Listing the techno-heads with whom they've shared decks with would be lame. Meanwhile the future is looking bright for the boys. Quality techno productions, percussion driven sets and the love for music is what it's all about. See you on the dance floor!
