Biografie
Sassy J is a DJ, music lover, promoter and handcraft artist based in Bern, Switzerland. She has been pooling global sounds through her own night, Patchwork, for the last 10 years – doing it strictly for the love of music – by curating line-ups (from Sadar Bahar to MF Doom to Theo Parrish), or through her selections as a DJ.
Her enthusiasm, keen ear and ability to take the audience on a journey has grabbed the attention and earned the support of forward thinking artists such as Gilles Peterson and Floating Points. She has also been invited to play at renowned clubs and events such as Sonar Festival, Plastic People and Deviation.
In September 2014 she recorded a tape for the 'The Trilogy Tapes" series, and has recorded mixes for the likes of Resident Advisor and Dekmantel.
