Biografie
Andy has seen himself billed alongside some of the most in-demand talent the industry has on offer – carving out a reputation for playing with both versatility, and a depth of musical styles. Whether it's early doors or early hours, Andy can rise to any occasion delivering exactly what the crowd wants.
"In at the deep end" is the best way to describe his breakthrough, a first gig coming courtesy of BBC RADIO ONE after winning a competition in 2002 to warm up for the Live Dance Anthems party at Don Valley Bowl, Sheffield. Andy played in front of a 4,000 strong crowd alongside Matt Hardwick, Dave Pearce, Fergie, and Mauro Piccotto.
From there he has never looked back, using the momentum to gain a residency for GATECRASHER's early up-and coming concept YOUNG-GUNS and regular guest slots including PROGRESS, GATECRASHER, SUNDISSENTIAL NORTH and AHEAD amongst others alongside featuring on GALAXY FM for Riley & Durrant's NU-BREED show.
Fast forward to the last twelve months and highlights have included the honour of warming-up to a packed crowd for one of his main inspirations MATT HARDWICK at his 'Final Farewell' at OFF THE RAILS, Sheffield, UK. which he rates as one of his 'all-time' sets. This joins a very rare opportunity to play the world renowned GLASTONBURY festival, and recently winning GODSKITCHEN's SIXFIVETWELVE Dj competition, kicking off their final event ever at Air, Birmingham, UK.
Behind the scenes Andy has become ever more hands-on within the industry as Promoter and Resident for Leeds progressive and techno outfit BLANK. Booking and playing alongside cutting-edge acts such Spektre, Fergie, Alan Fitzpatrick, Len Faki, Reset Robot, Darius Syrossian, Hermanez, Rolando, Nick Curly, Kink and many more.
You can also see Andy as resident of past inspired Manchester based night PLASMA FUTURE. Playing select underground progressive classics.
