Mr. Dex

Having begun DJ'ing as a teenager Mr. Dex's affinity towards Soul, Funk and Hip-Hop has led to a remarkable career.

He has played an integral role in the promotional campaigns for Tommy Boy and Rawkus Records at their height. This coincided with him becoming a resident DJ on London's groundbreaking cult Hip Hop station Itch FM.

Mr. Dex served as a tour DJ for UK MC Klashnekoff. During this period he has headlined at Fabric and Jazz Café, and starred in lineups with the likes of Ghostface, Raekwon, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Omar, Amy Winehouse and Estelle to name but a few.

Recently, he has added Audio Visual mixing to his repertoire which has featured in theatre productions and clubs to critical acclaim.

In the last year his brand has begun to gain momentum with his gritty online AV and mixtape series The DeX Files, coupled with DJ residencies throughout London and Oslo, and adding cuts to the Eric Lau & Guilty Simpson EP The Mission.
