When Ted Alexander was a little boy he was already passionate about singing , it was only a few years later he drove his parents mad by playing the latest underground dance tracks at maximum volume. Maybe in these early years the foundations for his career as a DJ and producer had been laid, but it took Ted several years to really strike his musical path. In his adolescence Ted wanted to become a professional tennis player and spent most of his time on the tennis court or playing tournaments. Sadly his fate seemed to have other plans and after a serious leg injury Ted was forced to put his tennis career on hold. Later living in Montreal is where he discovered Canada's sparkling and vivid electronic music scene and spent a lot of time at the legendary "Picnic Electronik", listening to the best DJs from all over the world. In his heart the idea of beginning a musical career slowly reached maturity. Upon returning to London he went straight into a music academy and became fascinated with music production and working in the studio. In addition to the academy he spent countless days reading books and watching online tutorials to further improve his technique. Once Ted's ambition is aroused, there is no going back: As his tennis career has already impressively demonstrated, only the sky is his limit. Thus we can expect major productions and DJ sets from this extraordinary guy, who describes his sound as "deep, minimal, moody, serious and somehow galactic", giving it a very special seasoning by adding his own, ethereal vocals. After playing several local gigs and releasing his exciting Track "Energy" on Life and Death, Ted Alexander is now looking to establish himself in the German music scene through his melodic tunes with a definite psychedelic sensibility, that irresistibly unfold their deep and sexy vibes.
