He is known as one of the best-varied energetic eclectic deejays in the Netherlands. IAMS1 his career started at the age of nineteen, a career that originated from deejaying in many clubs in his hometown Arnhem. His way of mixing has rapidly developed into a trendsetting endeavor at parties and festivals in Holland. He also had a residence at Hollands number one dancehall party Jamrock. Deejay IAMS1's style now popular than ever, is varied and cannot be defined. The style has his influence from Dancehall, R&B, Hip Hop, House, EDM and Trap. His gigs vary from national to international such as Dreams Beach Club in Saint Martin (Nettle Bay), Cameo in Greece (Hersonissos), Club Londoner Spain (Lloret del Mar), Club Naava in Germany (Melle) and more!
In recent years IAMS1 focuses not only on his deejaying but also on his ambition for the studio as well. As a result, he can play own edits during his energetic sets to feed the crowd with new music.
During his career he opened for artists like: Rick Ross, TGT (Tyrese, Ginuwine & Tank), Ashanti, August Alsina, Bow Wow, Bobby Valentino, Lloyd Banks, B2K, Million Stylez, Brick and Lace, Tiana, Kevin Lyttle, Mr Vegas, J Capri, Kaysha, Keizer, Cho, Adje, Gio, Jayh, Broederliefde and Ir-Sais. He also toured with artists such as Mia, Pretty Ricky, Nyanda and Marques Houston.
