Biografie
Randy Fabian Kerpens, better know as DJ RanFabKer, was born in 1980 in Surinam. He fell in love with music at an early age, but it was not till his 14th that he started playing and experimenting with music.
In 1994, the year he started dj-ing, he had his own drive in show and played at various house parties with his nephew and best friend. After four years, by this time he turned 18, he decided change his focus and take a break from dj-ing until he had graduated.
Shortly after graduation he picked up his passion and got back to entertaining people as a Hip Hop and R&B dj. He soon participated in a few programs of Coolio in Germany, and the opening act of Nelly in the Heineken Musical Hall in Amsterdam.
However, he was always interested in the business aspects behind the entertainment industry which led him to start a small marketing agency. Centerpointmarketing was a start up that promoted R&B and Hip Hop artist from the Dutch and USA market.
For his biggest client Walt Disney he organized his first big launch party in the famous club Escape in Amsterdam. For a youth club he promoted Dutch artists at the "Kwakoe Festival 2006", which was one of the biggest festivals of Amsterdam with around one million visitors each year
He was the resident dj of the small venue called the "Studios" from 2006 till 2007, back in his hometown Lelystad where everything once started.
At that time he fell in love with house music, a genre where he could create his own music and express himself freely. He started producing his own music, but he was not satisfied with his result until he met his studio partner in 2008.
With his partner's input, who studied at the Prins Claus Conservatorium (Music School), they managed to take his music to the next level.
He started his own party concept in 2009, Legendary, and had the biggest dj's in the industry perform a this event. Now in 2011, he is determined set a new standard for the progressive house industry.
