Biografie
DJ-MW (Martin Wetzels) was born in Aachen, Germany, on October 1st 1980. His father, who used to be a DJ from 1975 till 1986 was a great inspiration to him and he soon discovered that music was his passion.
At School he already started to play at school parties, weddings and small parties with friends. He wanted to go a step further and started as a Light Jockey in a club near his home. Martin got the opportunity to practice every night at this club and you could find him every night after work playing for himself.
Soon he was asked to play every Saturday night in the main area of one of the biggest clubs in the south of Netherlands (Peppermill Music Palace), where he still plays. It did not take long and a German club in Aachen asked him to play every Friday for them. If DJ-MW is not booked in other clubs, he still plays on Friday in Aachen at on of the biggest clubs in this city (Tanzpalast Elysee Aachen).
Big names like: La Fuente, Billy the Klit, Paul Elstak, Puresang, Partysquad, Tony Cha Cha, Flo Rida, Busta Rhymes, The Game, Magic System, DJ Jean. etc. shared the stage with DJ-MW
MW plays almost every style you name and is one of the best all-round DJ's of the Netherlands. He likes all kind of music direction and is always busy to improve his skills and collection. Dance, house and jumpstyle is his favorite genre. But also R&B, 80's, 90's, après ski, rock and minimal is a huge part of his style. He difinately rock's every place and he's always playing what the crowd would like to hear.
