MFD

Two stalwarts of Amsterdam's techno & house underground scene -- Julien Chaptal and David Labeij -- decided to link arms at the beginning of 2012 with the creation of their vinyl only label, MFD. Aiming to bring their blend of electronica back to a stripped-down, powerful, and hypnotic groove.

MFD's back-to-basics approach was born out of the infallible conviction that dance music in its purest form can effectively reduce one's insides to a bundle of raw nerves, and induce a state of pure bliss. Wether it be hypnotic, gritty or intense electronic music, the label focuses on explicit quality, keeping egos in check, and never allowing them to get in the way of a good time.

Along with the birth of the label, the pair decided to join forces in the wake of the label as a new back to back live set, MFD live.
