Ian S

Ian van der Stap was born on the 3rd of December 1992 and raised in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. At the age of 14 he'd seriously came in touch with the sound of house music. He bought compilation albums of his musical inspirations who inspired him (cd's like Hed Kandi, Sounds of Love & Dedication and Sneakerz). At that point Ian knew he had to do more with music then just listening.

A year later Ian started with dj'ing and making his own mash-ups and edits. He developed his skills very quickly wich did not get unnoticed. Ian became resident-dj in various nightclubs in Rotterdam and in 2010 he had his first international bookings in Greece and Spain. Nowadays Ian already played in all the biggest clubs of Rotterdam and surroundings.

Outside of dj'ing, he is producing his own tunes. Developing his sounds from soulful/deep to pumping latin/tech did result in releases on different (international) labels. Co-produced tracks (with other artists) like 'Casablanca', 'Bailar Con El Sol' and 'Tulema' received lots of support from big names in the scene.
