An Icelandic techno force in Amsterdam
Seemingly rising from nowhere, Reykjavik-born producer and DJ Bjarki Runar aka Kid Mistik, is one of the most exciting talents in the techno scene coming from Iceland, equally recognized as a member in the underground techno scene in Amsterdam, performing at events such as Schwung, On and ON, Krak, Zwets, and many clubs & festivals that are recognized worldwide. His sound is powerful, built from boisterous, springy rhythm tracks, giving his crowd a tremendous percussive monoliths which attack virulently through the speakers. Kid Mistik is set to launch his own techno imprint in 2014: keep an ear out for new releases on Do Not Sleep Records.
