2-Motion, or Tom Oerlemans, was born in the early 90'. Since he can remember, he has been passionate about all kinds of music. But it was only since the moment he put on the 'Tiësto in concert dvd' for the first time, in 2003, that he really knew for sure that he wanted to be a dj. He started listening to Trance music and in the years that followed he explored other genres as well. When he got his first dj gear in 2007, the journey to become a dj really took off. He began playing the harder kinds of music, like Hardstyle. But while exploring other kinds of music, the list of genres he liked to play kept adding up. In 2009, he was chosen to play at the talent stage of Riverdance, playing House and in 2012 he won a contest, which resulted in playing a Hardstyle-set at Harddefinition. Also he played at some local clubs, but the real icing on the cake was playing at Sziget Festival in Hungary. For a few months, he also combined a lot of different styles in a weekly dj-mix for the Fear.FM radioshow. But in december 2011, when he unexpectedly found himself dancing in a techno-area of an indoor festival, he instantly got hooked on Techno music. So in 2012 he decided to focus his attention mainly on Techno, Techhouse and Deephouse music. His dj-sets are characterized by a well-blended mix of those styles. By building up his sets he tries to create a storyline. Also he always tries to be creative, by trying new things and add unexpected tracks or effects. This way he takes the crowd on a journey with his techno-train.
