Biografie
Former member of the NET28 crew, now is the time for Kasper to really be seen….
Born and raised in Madrid, Kasper's take on music comes from a musical background of great variety from post punk, rock, jazz, rap to electronic music and being heavily influenced by labels such as 'Studio 1', 'Basic Channel', 'Profan', 'Chain Reaction', 'Mosaic', 'Schatrax', 'Perlon' and 'Planet E'.
Beginning in 2005 Kasper immersed himself fully in the Madrid music scene by running club nights together with his friend Papol whilst at the same time successfully becoming resident of Revolver Club, the place where he first had contact and played alongside artists such as Damian Schwartz, Pilas, Magda and David Mariscal. In late 2005, Kasper created the Esperanza label, alongside Papol with the idea of showing people their personal take on how electronic music should be produced. Artists such as Troy Pierce, Dario Zenker, Heartthrob, Jorge Savoretti, Ryan Crosson, Marc Houle, Franco
Cinelli and Mikael Stavostrand amongst others quickly joined the project and helped the Spanish label to grow up and became what it is at present.
A year later in 2006 was to be Kasper's first taste in production when together with Papol they released on the 'Igloo' net label. Surprisingly, for them at the time, the release was a big success with many DJ's from the then 'minimal scene' all over the world showing support. From the Igloo success saw a small collaboration with 'M_NUS' for Kasper remixing Ambivalent quickly followed by a track in the VVAA of 'Items and Things' 02 (label owned by Troy Pierce, Magda and Marc Houle).
From then on it has been carefully planned releases packed with quality for Kasper on some of the most forward thinking labels around such as 'Lomidhigh', 'Quintessentials', 'Mupa', 'Bloop Recordings' and most recently a super successful release on 'Bass Culture' (new label from D'Julz). His latest efforts have seen him gain support from Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Raresh, Josh Wink, Mathias Tanzmann and many more. Such quality releases have seen Kasper continue to play in select clubs like Watergate, Rex, Fuse, Harry Klein, Weekend Club, Goa, The South American Music Conference with talent like his there will be much more to come...
