Mc NoiA got active in the underground sound system driven free party scene around the dawn of the new millennium. He caught the virus and started getting involved putting nights on himself. Secret sonic rebel societies at vacant warehouses, deep in the forrest, industrial estates and defunct army bases hidden well away from the peeling eyes of Babylon and commercialism. Inspired by the original sounds and spirit that UK Mc's like GQ and Stevie Hyper D (R.I.P) plus the early Dutch Drum and Bass Mc's like Mc Jay brought it was not for long till he eventually picked up a mic himself and started to mash up raves with his very own and unique style of hosting.

Originally hosting squad style Ragga Jungle, Breakcore, Drum & Bass and more underground events, around 2004 he got infected via his first love for Dub by the upcoming sounds of deeper forward thinking Dubstep, Future Bass, Footwork Jungle etc and started hosting nights with these kind of sounds as well, adding versatility to his style.

On a more commercial basis NoiA has represented his sound and take on the music playing festivals like Lowlands and hosting sets for a whole list of international major artists in the game. Also outside of the Netherlands he is representing his sound with bookings all over Europe. Following the yearly summer Teknival circuit brought him to many places hosting unique one off raves. He initiated the Deep Cutz nights, currently the only true sound system driven legalized UK Bass music rave of the Netherlands. Letting a new generation experience the Sound System culture, a for the Netherlands unique blend, of free party style pure hype free sound system driven nights at selected legalized squad style underground venues. He moved to the UK going back to his amen based rave roots developing his hosting style further true to the original UK vibes that inspired him to pick up the mic in the first place!

Ever exploring new possibilities in lyrical support Mc NoiA uses a Korg Kaoss Pad 3 for live FX and extra lick shots when hosting. You can find him just as much in front of the rig with his wireless mic as next to the DJ on stage. For him it's not so much about being the centre of attention but all about the vibes and mashing it up and having a laugh with all crew going in hard in front of the rig.
