K.O.R.E. started his journey into the sounds of Hardcore/Gabber back in the end of 1995 when he was introduced to it by his good friend Kieth aka Cetra (a fellow dj and founder of NBR Hardcore). Once he heard that sound he knew he had just heard something special, something different, something that connected with him. In the middle of 1996 K.O.R.E. attended his first event in Los Angeles CA (Southern California is where K.O.R.E. grew up before moving to AZ in 1998) and witnessed the Stunned Guys tear it up. Here he is, a skinny shy teenage boy in the middle of a room with thousands of kids, its pitch black and only strobe lights going off with the beat, over 60 cabinets of speakers and the Stunned Guys playing. A wave of energy overtakes him and he rushes into the mosh pit with guys two and three times his size, but it didnt matter the music took over and since then K.O.R.E. was hooked and made the decision then and there to be a part of the Hardcore scene. Soon after K.O.R.E. purchased two turntables a mixer and twelve records, also downloaded ModTracker (old music production software) and started to get to work, with no one to teach him he just listened to his favorite artists and soon developed his own sound. In 1998 he moved to AZ and started to play small shows in the valley, soon after word got around and K.O.R.E. was introduced to Dj Cik from the Arizona hardcore junkies. K.O.R.E. became a member and with the AZHCJ started to play all over the united states and over seas. Some more times passes and K.O.R.E. and Forsaken is dead start Six Feet Underground records, a few tracks are released and the reaction is positive, things are going pretty good. Then like most of us real life gets in the way and K.O.R.E. has to step away, but thankfully the love never died and now after a three/four year hiatus K.O.R.E. is back and more dedicated then ever. With his new found passion K.O.R.E. is set to take the stage and once again show why Hardcore will never die!
