Biografie
Pollux became devoted to the magical world of music when he was still very young. After playing the guitar in various bands his focus turned to deejaying. He took up his first residency in 1998, ripping it up on Thursdays (Studio Brussel's Ciné Soirée) and Saturdays (Super8) at De Cinema (Antwerp), playing with the likes of 2 Many Deejays (Soulwax), Plump Deejays, Jacques Lu Cont, Glimmer Twins, Tutto Matto, Red Snapper, Lamb, ... Pollux reputation for quality music spread and he found himself deejaying all over the country and beyond. When it comes down to his musical style, melody seems to be the keyword. Shying away from trance and tech and embracing everything thats sexy: from soulful over uplifting disco to funky house. Expect loads of vocal action, funkin' basses and streamin' rhythms, and look out for those trademark Pollux edits! Guaranteed to make your booty shakin'!
In 2003 Pollux teamed up with one of Belgiums finest, Olivier Abbeloos (aka C-Mos, T99, ...) for the dancefloor stomper Excuse Me, released on Olivier's label Holographic and on various compilations (House Boulevard, etc.). Since then several collaborations have been made, you can find him funkin it up with his Fender by his side on releases as Congasquad's Da Sunshine Groove and C-Mos's 2 Million ways to name but a few.
Over the years he held several residencies at La Rocca, Hed Kandi, Radio FG, Club Industria, Fill Collins Club, ... and ran a hugely successful monthly concept at La Rocca named Good Times, where he played side by side with international guest deejays like Brian Tappert , John Julius Knight , Axwell (Sweden) & Joey Negro .
