Biografie
Born in Italy, Markhese has been passionate about dance music ever since he was a child. After studying at a music school in its prestigious Piano Division, he first worked as a promoter and DJ for Italian clubs during the studies. After he earned a degree in Musical Event Production, he moved to London to become an international DJ and producer, sponsored by the London Sound Academy.
Markhese has grown really fast as DJ and producer in the last three years, and has been defined as a next generation DJ/producer thanks to his energetic and unique style, his performances are set in a highly eclectic atmosphere where his Future House sound blends in a trendy and unique and melodic way, heating the dance floor.
He got in 2016 a residency at the legendary Ministry of Sound Club in London with the London Sound Academy (supporting DJs as Nervo, Nicky Romero, Markus Schulz, Paul Oakenfold, Camelphat, Atrak, R3hab, Fedde Le Grand), winning in the summer the 2016 Heineken Ultra Europe DJ contest over 300 DJs for best mix and headlining then at the Ultra Worldwide Stage, heading to Ibiza in the summer for the first time playing for Ibiza Rocks Bar and bringing Café' Mambo on tour to London in two great parties.
In 2017 Markhese got residency in 2 top 100 clubs in the world such as Elements and Space Beijing, bringing his music not only to China, but to Indonesia and Japan in his first ever Asian tour in the early 2017. Luxembourg, Poland, Ukraine were only some of the countries of the spring tour that were leading Markhese to his 2nd participation to Ultra Europe 2017, where he performed on the 14th July at the UMF radio stage.
His track ''Venus'', released the on March 2017 by the German label Pyro, was played by DJs as Tomorrowland resident Yves V, legend Fedde Le Grand, upcoming Dutch future house talent Mike Williams and many more including the Italian Andrea Belli of radio 105, and got into the top 7 on the Beatport charts– Big Room Releases on week 10-2017. The 2 previous tracks ''Next to me'' (ADE 2016) and ''Hope'' (2016) got both into the top 20 releases on the Beatport charts.
''Tomorrow'', big future house sounds with a refreshing feel and huge breaks, by the likes of Tom Swoon, Madison Mars, Hexagon, Tiesto, Dash Berlin, Yves V, Lucas & Steve, Juicy M, Exodus, Chuckie, Ummet Ozcan was another great single released during the summer 2017 by Peak Hours Music New York, n.1 Beatport seller in 2016 for Electro House music. It reached n.1 Future House with the Peak Hour compilation in the end of 2017.
His first 2018 track ''Jazzy'' was premiered by Hexagon and Don Radio, awarding for originality and defining Markhese as artist for 2018 and beyond. The vocal ''Can't Get Enough'' released in February 2018 by Equus entered the top 10 on Beatport as best progressive and top 100 global.
Markhese joined in March 2018 the best dance dutch radio SLAM providing guestmixes for the Friday Mix Marathon along top djs in the world.
In March 2018 Markhese did a debut in Thailand at Illuzion, top 48 DJMAG in the World (Phuket), following by more dates in the same country, starting with Pattaya in May 2018 (Hollywood) and Shark (Phuket).
Markhese currently runs as well the weekly radio show "Intense'' since 2016, where he presents the best and newest dance music and he always has international upcoming DJs joining for guest mixes (Gregor Salto, Justin Prime, Eyes of Providence, STVCKS, are just some of them in the over 50 episodes so far).
