Biografie
Dr. Squee has been involved in the Dutch Drum & Bass scene since the end of last century, and is a true Drum & Bass veteran with more than 15 years of DJing experience and a vast vinyl collection. He has been regularly playing on the internet radiostation Jungletrain.net since 2003, where he also hosted the long running Bassground Radio show together with Adi-J for many years. Since 2010 he has been doing his solo show; The A.M.S., which is currently running as a two hour bi-weekly show on every other Monday.
Besides DJing all over the Netherlands in the last decade, Dr. Squee has teamed up with Eye-D several times in the studio which resulted in two vinyl releases. Their "Caffeine Overdose '97" was released in 2007 on the Belgian Independenza label, and their second track, "Circuitry" came out in 2009 on the first LP of the Dutch PRSPCT recordings. Since these releases he has been spending more and more time in his studio, concentrating on solo productions as well as other collaborations.
Dr. Squee plays a wide repertoire of Drum & Bass, ranging from floating oldskool Atmospherics, to deep stepping neuro, or from the dark No-U-Turn style techstep to pounding Technoid. The prescription of the Doctor is clear: serious beats and bass, and more cowbell!
