Biografie
Mawifamily is about three young electronic music-lovers based in Paris, France.
One is a producer (Etienne Anthony), one is a DJ (Arthur Thimouy), and one is a DJ and producer (Bjlaa).
Originally from Strasbourg, Etienne has already proved his worth as a producer. His former "easounds" profile got distinguished thanks to remixes of groups like Daft Punk or The Maneken, released in 2013.
Our French Touch enthusiast discovered "underground" electronic music when he arrived in Paris, at the end of 2013.
Native of Paris, Arthur started as a DJ in Free party. After meeting Etienne, he decided to head towards House music, and towards a much "groovier" horizon. Although Arthur's sets have changed over the years, they are still marked by a psychedelic touch due to his love for psy-trance and industrial techno.
The meeting between these two music buffs and the mix between the genres they fight for have produced a stunning deep/tech-house mix that can be found in pieces like "Weather Underground" and "Bring that Beat Back", released on EDM Underground Label in 2016.
Mawifamily is open-minded, that's why you'll find "Deep-i-er" productions like "House Feeling", or, on the contrary, sets or live performances verging towards a much darker techno...
