|Genres||drum & bass, neurofunk|
From the cold depths of the Manitoba underground, Skepsis's involvement with the North American Drum and Bass scene first started when he heard of the genre in 2007 after finding a rave in the ghettos behind the famous exchange district In downtown winnipeg. Continuing with this obsession he started djing and further being entranced and impressed by the amazing quality of the haunting cinematic atmospheres, deep absurd basslines and driving heavily percussive beats he started to write and perfect his own style being influenced by huge names in the scene like Noisia, Black Sun Empire, Technical Itch, Calyx and Teebee, Zero T, Phace and Misanthrop, Spectrasoul, Octane and Dlr, Original Sin, Jade, and Mefjus to name a few. Pushing the boundary's of sound design to their absolute limit trying to leave his own footprint in the history of the Canadian drum and bass scene, Skepsis continues to create his own uniquely twisted sounds, waiting to be unleashed upon the world.
